Creative Journaling
Explore the benefits of creative self-expression with "Creative Journaling," a workshop designed to combine the therapeutic effects of journaling with the joy of making art. Co-taught by Ginger Boller, an artist and former counselor, and Jessica Kenner, a talented public school teacher and artist, this class meets on Wednesdays—September 25, October 2, and October 9. Together, they offer a supportive environment to unwind, reflect, and channel your creativity into meaningful visual journals. Art journaling is not only a great way to process thoughts and emotions, but it also enhances mindfulness and encourages personal growth.
In this engaging workshop, you will:
- Repurpose Little Golden Books and other unique titles into personal art journals.
- Learn and practice various techniques, including collage and painting.
- Transform everyday materials into meaningful creative works.
Class Fee:
$55 through September 10
$65 after September 10
- The fee includes a book to use as your journal and all necessary supplies.
Class Schedule:
- This workshop takes place on Wednesdays, September 25, October 2, and October 9, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
Registration Information:
- Registration closes on September 24 or when the class reaches capacity.
- The class is held at 9th Street Studios, located at 920 9th St., on the second floor. Please note that participants must be able to navigate a flight of stairs.
- Be sure to provide a valid email address during registration, as important instructions will be sent after payment.
- The workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants and can accommodate up to 10 participants.
