2. I've never been to an art class. What will it be like?
Each class is a little different. Some start with a quick warm up activity. You can think of this like stretching before working out. The warm up is meant to get you out of left hemisphere brain processing mode and into the right side where creativity happens.
What’s your refund policy if I purchased a ticket to a class and need to cancel?
Unexpected things pop up. If you need to cancel a class here’s how it works:
Cancelations 1 week or more before the class starts will receive a full refund.
Cancelations 6-4 days before class starts will receive a 75% refund.
Cancel 72-24 hours before class and receive a 50% refund.
Cancel 24 hours-1 hour before class and receive a 25% refund.
Cancel 1 hour or less before class or no show and receive no refund.
Why will I not get a 100% refund if I cancel less than 1 week before class?
When I issue a refund I have to pay PayPal or credit card fees twice, once when you pay and once when I refund your money.
When you reserve a spot in a class or camp I buy supplies for you that may not be able to be retuned.
Classes at Gingersnap Art are small. You canceling might make it where the minimum number of students is not met. If you sign up and then cancel at the last minute, it’s not fair to the other students to cancel the class.
What if a class doesn’t get the minimum number of students and must be canceled?
Any students signed up will receive a full refund and a discount code for another class.
Students will be emailed 24 hours before the start time of the class and informed. Please make sure to give me a good email when you register.
What is your inclement weather policy?
Gingersnap Art follows what is done by the WFISD. If a class is canceled you will receive an email. If that happens there will be a makeup class offered for classes that meet weekly. You will receive a full refund if a class meets only one time. In the event that the class is canceled, you will receive a coupon code for a discount on a future class.
What are your hours?
Ginger Snap Art does not have set office hours. We are open for classes and private lessons. You won’t be able to drop by or come to a class and pay at the door.
Prepayment is required because your time is valuable. I don’t want you to comme to a class and have to wait while I register other students and take their payments.
Is there a time I can meet you and check out Gingersnap Art Studio?
Yes, I would be happy to schedule an appointment to meet with you and answer any questions. I’m also usually open during Art Walk. That’s a great chance for you to be able to drop by my studio and check it out.
